PlannerTech NY 2011
The inagural event took place on June 9th, 2011 at the Roger Smith Hotel. Planned in less than 3 months, the event was a smash with over 125 live guests and 300 via live-stream. There were 10 amazing companies who participated in the showcase portion of the event and introduced their innovation each in 4 minutes. The pitch format, laid back vibes, rocking venue and groovy crowd all made the night a blast.
Huge thanks to our Partners and the Roger Smith Hotel for giving us access to two entire floors of their amazing private event space and providing top notch service. We also had an amazing Emcee for the event, Josh Beckerman - The Foodie Magician, along with an awesome DJ, Ray Jarrell, in the social media lounge.
This event never would of happened if it wasnt for the Planning Team and great group of Volunteers we had to help run the event the night of. An idea is truly only as good as the team you have working to make it a reality.
